Alien Invasion DLC

In GTA 6, GTA 6 Ideas, GTA V, GTA V DLC, GTA V Ideas by dave0 Comments

With it already being very clear that aliens exist in Grand Theft Auto V, one can’t help but wonder if we will actually get a full on DLC with an alien invasion. Fans already got a glimpse of what this looks like when they meet Barry, a marijuana activist peddling questionable pot in the Freaks and Strangers missions. So what exactly would an alien invasion DLC consist of? In addition to new weapons, like some sort of laser guns (besides the rail gun), there would be new aircrafts and vehicles that are typical of alien invasions in pop culture. Things …

Special car abilities

In GTA 6, GTA 6 Concept Cars, GTA 6 Ideas, GTA V, GTA V DLC, GTA V Ideas by dave0 Comments

Imagine being able to kick the crap out of someone and lock them in the trunk of your car or take them somewhere to whack them. In Red Dead Redemption, you had the ability to hogtie an individual, pick them up and lay them across the back of your horse (or railroad tracks, for that matter). Similar in concept, a long awaited feature for the GTA series has been the ability to utilize the use of trunks of cars to store weapons or bodies. With Grand Theft Auto V, we can turn headlights on or off, hide the soft tops …

GTA Cheat Ideas

Part of what makes Grand Theft Auto fun is the replay value after the completion of the game. You could spend hours driving around, trying different side quests, roleplaying as emergency services, etc… But one of the main things that fans like to do after they complete the story is play with different cheat codes. This puts you into many different scenarios that are otherwise not available in the game. Before we get to the cheat ideas, let’s think about how the cheats system can work. On the Playstation 4 / Xbox One generation of systems, you can put in …

Grand Theft Auto war DLC

In GTA V, GTA V DLC, GTA V Ideas by dave0 Comments

Rockstar Games took a stab at the popular Call of Duty franchise by introducing first person view mode in Grand Theft Auto V, so what better way to follow suit than adding a world war downloadable content?  The DLC begins in typical GTA fashion with a storyline arc about a war breaking out, and segues quickly into chaos and panic as your player scrambles to defend his fellow countrymen from terrorists or other swarms of enemy armies. Similar to how a zombie DLC would function, there would be car fires and damage as far as the player can see, with roads blocked …

Zombies DLC in Grand Theft Auto

In GTA V, GTA V DLC, GTA V Ideas by dave0 Comments

So there’s probably a bunch of you out there that are sick of hearing about zombies (as shown by this poll on GTA forums), but for the rest of us out there, a zombie DLC is a much desired feature in a GTA setting.  Games like Left 4 Dead or the Dead Rising series attempt to fill the zombie void for gamers, but an open sandbox game with a non-zombie focused setting allows a more legitimate experience.  Unlike other zombie games, the focus is shifted from zombies themselves in a fantasy environment to a genuine open world experience where there is …

GTA V San Andreas Fan Map

In GTA V, GTA V Ideas by dave0 Comments

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve likely seen this recreation of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas in the HD universe all over GTA fan sites.  This map was created by yours truly, and the purpose of the design was to showcase what I imaged present day GTA V would have looked like upon initial release.  Unfortunately, fans were left somewhat disappointed when they found out that Grand Theft Auto V was only set in Los Santos and surrounding country side.  To Rockstar’s credit, given the limitations of last generation consoles, such a monstrous map was deemed ‘impossible.’ Is …
